Torrey Newhart is currently the leader or co-leader of several projects.

obsidian animals

The Obsidian Animals is an original music project aimed at deep artistic expression.  Current members include Jessika Smith, Joshua Hettwer, Adam Carlson, Sean Peterson, Eddie Bond and Tony Glausi.

torrey newhart trio

The Torrey Newhart Trio is a traditional jazz piano trio that performs a wide variety of jazz standards and original music by Torrey's friends and bandmates. Current members include Ryan Biesack and Todd Sickafoose.

inner limits

Inner Limits is a rock/funk/blues band with a solid groove and jazzy tinges that performs original arrangements of well-known music in addition to originals. Currently Torrey performs bass synth, keyboards and vocals. Other members are Olem Alves and Jesse Greenlee.
